INNOVATION VISA
The purpose of the innovation visa is to enable foreign entrepreneurs to develop their innovative technology project in Israel, and to (eventually) receive a work permit visa. As part of the Innovation Visas program entrepreneurs will be able to stay in Israel for a period of up to 24 months.
The innovation visa will enable foreign entrepreneurs from around the world to develop their innovative, technological project in Israel. During their stay, the foreign entrepreneurs will be hosted in one of the 12 Selected Landing Pads for Foreign Entrepreneurs. The Landing Pad will offer exposure to Israel’s Eco-System, work spaces, technologic infrastructure, as well as business and logistic support.

SAMURAI AS A LANDING PAD
As a Japanese VC, we’re looking for entrepreneurs with bright technological ventures that have business feasibility in the Asian (and Japanese) market. We’re not looking for Japanese entrepreneurs specifically (although they are, of course, welcome) – but for entrepreneurs with projects that would benefit from and have success in the Asian market.
Our goal is to help the entrepreneur get to know the Israeli community and ecosystem, as well as the Japanese counterpart. We’d work to help the entrepreneur fit and customize their project to the Japanese market as well as the Israeli one, and help understand the differences between their “home base” and the Israeli and Japanese ecosystems.
All applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Note: Getting accepted by a landing pad does not ensure the grant of an Innovation Visa.
